Yesterday's dreams reach out for Paul
with the arms of his torn teddy bear
who sits on the broken chair in the hall.
Yesterday's dreams reach out for Paul.
Will he ever repair them all?
They stretch to embrace him but touch only air.
Yesterday's dreams reach out for Paul
in the tears of his old teddy bear.
